We got to know the team at the PreWedding Dinner in the Landhaus Spatzenhof in Wermelskirchen in February and were able to try some of the delicacies there. Shortly afterwards we were already in Remscheid to order our wedding cake. Super nice advice, a lot of time was taken, even if there was a lot going on around it. Great taste with a light passion fruit on top and salted caramel on the bottom. As a tip we were recommended the cake pops, which the guests could eat standing up. All in all, awesome in terms of taste and appearance. Thank you!!!

A fantastic coffee! I'm totally in love, even if it is a little more expensive here than in the bakery. In my opinion, the "surcharge" is absolutely justified. The staff is very friendly, sometimes even funny. The inventory is tasteful. The toilet for the guests is a romantic place with candles - you like to pay a little more. Wonderful!

What was once a "Geheimtip" [secret tip] in Remscheid has been steadily becoming an ever more open secret. And rightly so. The Sahnetörtchen is one of those vanishingly rare phenomena in the increasingly standardized uniformity of German cites; something original, with its own unique identity. And, in an area where speed, predictability and price-pressures have led to a depressing spread of same-looking franchises, it has quietly trusted in its own originality and grown in popularity. It offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, genuinely friendly and helpful service, a modest but well-chosen lunch menu, and a great choice of sinfully delicious cakes. The homemade lemonade is especially recommended. The Sahnetörtchen is well worth a visit. And, if you find yourself more often in Remscheid's city centre, it's a place you'll probably find yourself returning to.
